Invitation to Junior Cricket Sessions at UCC 
Boys and Girls of all ages and cricketing experience are welcome to come along to sessions at Ulverston Cricket Club throughout the summer and beyond.
Girls’ Cricket – Ulverston Rockets : Thursdays 4.30 – 6.00pm
We are holding softball sessions every Thursday at our Priory Road ground for any girl, ideally Years 4 and upwards.
No experience necessary. The session will consist of :
Warm up game
Short Skills session – batting, bowling, fielding
Game
We play friendly matches and festivals at clubs in the Barrow and South Lakes area.
There is no cost to these sessions and no equipment is required.

All Stars Cricket – Friday 4.30 – 5.30pm
All Stars is a national programme for children ages 4-9 that UCC has been running since 2017. Details can be found on : https://www.ecb.co.uk/play/all-stars
We run All Stars every Friday. You are very welcome to come along and join in any session before you book on to the programme. No equipment needed, just come along and introduce yourself to one of the activators.
Under 11 & 13 Hardball Cricket – Sundays 4.30 – 6.00pm
Our squad of hardball cricketers compete in the Barrow and Furness Junior League and Cups, as well as taking part in local friendlies and our own festivals and competitions throughout the summer. The range of ability is from complete beginner to county standard. Everyone welcome.
Join us every Sunday for practice sessions. Matches are generally on Fridays.
There are no initial costs and all equipment can be provided.

Membership and Fees
All players renew their membership before the season starts in April. New members can join at any stage in the season. You are welcome to come and join a few practice sessions before you join.
Cost £20 per year includes all match and practice fees.
Ulverston CC and the Junior Cricket Section is a Club Mark registered Club.
All coaches are ECB qualified and DBS checked.
